The North Olympic Discovery Marathon could very well be the most scenic course you ever run in your life. That might be why this event (that started in 2003 with only 500 runners) now boasts over 2000 participants. The race is located on the stunning Olympic Peninsula between the charming towns of Sequim and Port Angeles, WA. The majority of this point-to-point course is on the Olympic Discovery Trail (ODT). Sequim is the perfect town to live in if you like to be outside throughout the year. The weather is mild enough, and even dry enough, to get outside and enjoy the spoils of mother nature in Spring, Summer, Fall, and even Winter. That said, the summer months in Washington State as a whole, and Sequim in particular, are especially magical. The weather is perfect; not too hot, dry, sunny, and nothing short of spectacular.
