Upick Berries at Graysmarsh Farms in SequimBerry Picking at Graysmarsh Farm in Sequim

Graysmarsh Farm, located just outside of downtown Sequim, sits on a 1200-acre piece of land in the Dungeness River Valley. It’s a locally owned farm with fertile, rich land. Thanks to the relatively mild weather and sunny days afforded to Sequim by the Olympic Mountain Rainshadow, farming here is exceptional.  This perfect weather makes it possible to grow different types of berries. Graysmarsh Farm has strawberries, raspberries, loganberries, blueberries, boysenberries, and blackberries. It also produces natural preserves that are packaged in home jars and gift packs.

While some of the Graysmarsh Farms berries are picked by machine, the harvest season between June and August opens up to locals for u-pick opportunities.  There’s nothing quite like handpicking your berries to take home! Once you’re on the farm, take the number of buckets you need from the booth or use your own Ziploc bags. You then head to the different sections of berries. They are in separated aisles with signs showing the ripe ones. You may pick as much as you want.
