While raspberries and loganberries begin to ripen July through August. Later the blueberries are ready and juicy blackberries are the last to sweeten. Come home with a basket-full of mouthwatering berries from the locally owned and operated Graysmarsh Farm. Plan a blueberry u-pick day at Dungeness Meadow Farm when the certified organic crops ripen mid-July. Hydrangea Rangers specializes in the colorful flowers, but also grow grapes, cherries, pears, apples, and plums. This bounty of fresh produce can also be enjoyed at the many great restaurants and the lively Sequim Farmers Market. After a day of berry picking stroll charming downtown Sequim for a bite to eat or do some shopping.

A short, picturesque drive away, find the lovely water-front town of Port Angeles. More berry farms can be found here as well. Blueberry Haven Farm, known for extra large blueberries, also sells plump apricots. Lazy J Farm grows blueberries in addition to heritage apples such as Jonagolds, Melrose, and Kings. Visitors to Salt Creek Farm can pick fresh raspberries and strawberries along with cutting a bouquet of seasonal flowers.
