The Dungeness Crab & Seafood Festival comes to Port Angeles, WA

Discover Great Fishing and Shellfishing in Sequim

The great fishing around Sequim has been a locals’ secret for some time. This unique region of the Olympic Peninsula has fresh and saltwater fishing at sunsethabitats and includes a wide variety of species. Halibut and salmon are found in abundance in the waters around Sequim. Chinook salmon are in Sequim Bay year-round, while the halibut season begins in May and lasts until June. Find shrimp, oysters, and Dungeness crab in Sequim and Discovery Bays. Head out to the Strait of Juan de Fuca to catch halibut, cutthroat, and steelhead.
